Questions

Before you provision a key.

What is a credit?: A credit represents one successful MCP tool call. Different tools consume different amounts based on query cost.
What happens when I run out?: Successful calls stop once credits are exhausted. The API returns HTTP 402 for a no-credit state, which is distinct from a 429 rate-limit response.
Does this work with Claude Desktop?: Yes. Connect in claude.ai with a custom connector, or add the local wrapper to claude_desktop_config.json. Claude Code and other direct HTTP clients use the Authorization: Bearer header flow. See the docs for every client.
What data sources are included?: RegDataLab aggregates openFDA datasets, DECRS, and FDA dashboard sources with normalization and provenance metadata. Every tier includes the same coverage.
Do you offer refunds?: Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase; consumed credits are non-refundable; cancellations are not prorated. The Free tier is available at no cost.
Can I cancel anytime?: Yes. Paid plans are month-to-month with no long-term contract. Cancel through the billing portal and your plan reverts to Free at the end of the current cycle.
